Nikhil Upreti

Nikhil Upreti or Nikhil Uprety (Nepali: निखिल उप्रेती)is a leading Nepali actor. His first film was Pijada released in 2000 A.D. in which he jumped from a seven storey building of Kantipur Complex. The stunt is believed to be the reason behind the success of the movie. He has more than 45 films with lead role and regarded as one of the must successful and popular actor in Nepal.

Personal life

Nikhil Upreti was born in Piprabhitta, Sarlahi of Eastern Nepal. He has one brother and two sisters. In 2058 B.S he got married with Kopila Upreti of Naubise, Dhading.

Awards

He won Best Actor award in 2062 B.S. from the movie Haami Teen Bhai (We three brothers). One year later he was awarded with Rastriya Nagarik Sworna Samman (National Citizen Golden Award).
